Boston, MA (May 21, 2004) -- Curl Corporation announced today its sale to Sumitomo Corporation, a $28 billion revenue Japanese conglomerate. Curl was established to extend and commercialize the results of a three-year, $5 million US Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) funded research project conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The company will continue to develop software that can be used to deliver rich internet applications. Revolution Partners, LLC, acted as executive financial advisor to Curl Co
